Spooky Marzipan Treats

Make these rose water-saffron, black sesame, and orange blossom water marzipan recipes for a fun and tasty Halloween activity.

Black Sesame Marzipan

Rose Water & Saffron Marzipan

Orange Blossom Water Marzipan

Boo! With its floral notes and smooth texture, this aromatic marzipan is so easy to make, it's scary.

Ingredients:

3 cups almond flour

3 cups powdered sugar

3 teaspoons rose water and/or orange blossom water

1 teaspoon saffron threads

2 teaspoons black sesame paste

Make the Dough

Sift together the powdered sugar and almond flour. Add the flavorings for each recipe, slowly adding small amounts of water to make a smooth dough.

Roll out the Dough

Dust your work surface and a rolling pin with powdered sugar. Then, roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thick.

Shape the Marzipan

Use Halloween-themed mini cookie cutters to create fun, spooky shapes. Gather the remaining dough and roll it out again until you've used all of the dough.

Place your marzipan shapes on a  nonstick surface to dry. Let them rest for at least 30 minutes, then enjoy!
